About Us
Formerly a pub/hotel, the Barholm Enterprise Centre was previously known as ‘The Barholm’ or ‘The Ponda’ to the locals of Creetown. After being closed down, it sat unused for almost a decade. Having fallen into a derelict state, it was transformed by the joint efforts of the Creetown Initiative and the National Lottery Fund. Now, it has become home to a variety of businesses that could not have existed within the community before. The Barholm Centre offers a warm, welcoming and friendly place to stay in the Creetown area. Our cosy, award-winning accommodation is the perfect place to use as a base to explore Dumfries & Galloway. The prime location gives guests easy access to all of the superb cycling, walking, hiking, fishing and coastal activities on offer in the area.
